Brie Paysan Breton has a milky and rich taste underlined by sweet and buttery flavours of mushrooms, truffles and almonds.
The centre of the cheese is rich and creamy with a smooth, supple texture. As the cheese ages, the rind develops red or brown patches, and the pate oozes from the centre with a robust flavour.
