Comté is made from the raw milk of red-and-white Montbeliard cows, in the Jura Mountains of France in Franche-Comté.
The texture is dense and smooth, with a creamy, nutty flavour. Comté is a versatile cheese - it melts beautifully, and is equally perfect used in the kitchen or on the cheeseboard. Adored by revered chefs all over the world!
